About the Role

The Maintenance Trade Assistant is a permanent full-time member of the Knox Grammar School Property Team. The position supports repairs, scheduled maintenance, event setup and the operation of plant and equipment across school properties.

Responsibilities

• Complete repairs and general maintenance work
• Perform scheduled tasks in response to work requests
• Set up and remove function equipment
• Operate plant and equipment required for maintenance tasks
• Use digital work-order systems and technology where required

Requirements

• Experience in carpentry, tiling, bricklaying, plastering or general building maintenance is desirable
• Experience in commercial, education or facilities maintenance is advantageous
• Flexible, proactive and able to take initiative
• Current Class C driver's licence
• Commitment to child safety requirements
