Job description
KPMG Australia is seeking an Associate Director to join its Data Analytics and Emerging Technology team within Audit and Assurance. The team delivers data-driven technology solutions that address complex challenges for external audit teams and clients.
You will shape the future of audit-technology support, lead analytics engagements and use Databricks, PySpark, SQL, Microsoft Azure and AI-powered solutions to drive audit innovation. The role also includes stakeholder leadership, portfolio management and coaching junior team members.
Responsibilities
- Lead data-analytics engagements as an engagement lead and subject-matter expert
- Use Databricks
- PySpark
- SQL

- Manage a portfolio of technology-driven Audit and Assurance engagements
- Interpret analysis outputs and manage senior stakeholder expectations
- Serve as an escalation contact for clients and internal teams
- Test and deploy sophisticated data and analytics tools
- Coach and provide technical training to junior team members
- Contribute specialist knowledge across KPMG
