About the role

Canva is seeking a Senior Graphics and Illustration Specialist for a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role shapes locally relevant visual content and creative production systems for global communities.

Key responsibilities

• Own end-to-end production of locally relevant graphics and illustration content.

• Set visual direction and provide high-quality craft feedback.

• Shape AI-assisted production workflows from experimentation to publication.

• Use data, search signals and market insights to identify content opportunities.

• Ensure assets meet Canva standards for craft, metadata and discoverability.

• Collaborate with regional, platform and operational teams.

About you

• Strong graphics and illustration craft; motion design is an advantage.

• Experience in creative direction and critique.

• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted production.

• Ability to connect creative decisions with user needs and broader goals.
